Curt Davis, AttorneyCurt Davis has a history of helping people. For the last 27 years he has successfully represented the rights of personal injury victims throughout Kentucky. He has obtained millions of dollars for his clients.

No stranger to media attention, Curt has successfully defended many high profile criminal cases throughout Kentucky and in other states as well.

In addition to state courts in Kentucky, he has been admitted to practice in Federal Court - Eastern and Western districts of Kentucky, and in the 6th circuit of the U.S. Court of Appeals.

Before he began the practice of law, Curt was a full time minister. Today he conducts crusades and extensive evangelistic ministry outside the United States. His recent travels have taken him to preach in Israel, Costa Rica, Honduras and the underground churches of China. Curt brings extensive business experience to the practice of law. He has been part owner and CEO of several Kentucky coal companies which mined coal in southern and eastern Kentucky. Out of 2000 coal companies in Kentucky, his Quality State Coal Company was ranked 80th in production after only two years of operation. In addition to actually producing the coal, for several years Curt sold coal to the power plants produced by other mining operations.

Sensitive to environmental concerns, Curt and his partners were awarded the Kentucky Reclamation Award for the best reclamation in eastern Kentucky for 1978. The award was presented by Governor Julian Carroll at the annual banquet in Frankfort.

Curt soon became a seasoned and experienced trial attorney after turning his energies to the practice of law some 27 years ago. He attributes his success to hard work, a personal interest in his clients, and a good staff.

Curt received his Juris doctorate from the University of Kentucky and did his undergraduate studies at Morehead State University, Asbury College and the University of Louisville.

Currently, he is a member of the Kentucky Bar Association, American Bar Association , Kentucky Justice Association, and the American Justice Association.

Curt has a big heart for the youth of the community and is a supporter of various youth-oriented programs including Burnside Elementary's "Real Men Read" program and Science Hill Elementary's "Career Day." Southwestern High School has benefited from his donation of legal services to its Raptor Rehabilitation Center; he is also a supporter of Southwestern's award-winning marching band. He served on the initial board of directors for the largest rural "Boys and Girls Clubs of America," and has awarded college scholarships to deserving graduates in the area.

Curt also provides free legal service to the needy through the Appalachian Research and Defense Fund. For the last several years he has received recognition for his contributions in this area.
